Role Overview: In this role, you will assess trucks listed in auctions, research comparable vehicles on [login to view URL], and provide precise valuations to guide our bidding strategy. Your work will directly impact our purchasing decisions and profitability. Key Responsibilities: - Review trucks listed at Pickles, Grays, Manheim, and other auction sites. - Search and compare similar trucks on [login to view URL] to determine market value. - Apply our valuation method considering make, model, year, GVM, kilometres, transmission, and condition. - Prepare quick, clear valuation reports for the purchasing team. - Keep up-to-date with market trends and price shifts across different truck categories. - Maintain accurate records of valuations and final purchase prices for analysis. Requirements: - Knowledge of Australian truck makes, models, and categories (Prime Movers, Pantech, Tray, Tipper, etc.). - Experience in vehicle valuation, truck sales, or auction buying is highly regarded. - Strong online research skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure. - Clear communication skills for delivering concise recommendations.
