I run an e-commerce coaching program with clients selling across many different markets worldwide. My clients open online stores and use platform payment providers (mainly Wix Payments, which runs on Stripe + Forter). Several legitimate stores are getting flagged, held, or suspended during onboarding and early trading, and I want to understand the risk logic so I can help my clients set up cleanly and compliantly from day one. I'm looking for someone who has worked on the **merchant / seller side of risk** — merchant underwriting, KYB/KYC, account onboarding, or platform risk. **Relevant backgrounds (any of these):** - Chargeback-guarantee / fraud decisioning: Forter, Signifyd, Riskified, ClearSale, NoFraud - Risk scoring & device intelligence: Sift, Sardine, Kount, SEON, Ravelin, ThreatMetrix - PSP / platform risk teams: Stripe (Radar / Connect underwriting), Adyen, [login to view URL], PayPal, Braintree, Mollie - KYB / identity & business verification: Persona, Alloy, Middesk, Socure, Ekata, Trulioo, Baselayer **What I need help with:** - Review how my clients are setting up their payment accounts and identify what's triggering reviews or holds - Explain how merchant onboarding risk scoring works (KYB/KYC verification, address/identity matching, website scanning, velocity, payout logic) - Advise on legitimate best practices so real businesses pass verification smoothly - Help me build a clean onboarding checklist I can give to my coaching participants **Important:** This is strictly about doing things the *right* way — clean, compliant onboarding for real, legitimate businesses.
