I run an ongoing GRP line that builds battery boxes and sun-shades using both traditional hand-lay and VRTM vacuum methods. The crew is already in place; what I need now is a production manager who can drive the operation to its lowest possible cost without compromising finish or cycle time. Your day-to-day effort will revolve around three constant targets: cutting raw-material consumption, deploying the existing workforce to its full potential, and squeezing every avoidable rupee out of the cost sheet. Along the way, the parts must leave the mould with a ΔE under 3 for UV stability, surface resistivity below 10⁹ Ω for antistatic performance, and flame resistance that satisfies UL94 V-0. Hand-lay and VRTM experience is non-negotiable; you’ll be steering both processes, fine-tuning resin ratios, vacuum levels, cure schedules, and demoulding practices. Think in terms of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma—whatever tool set keeps scrap bins empty and throughput steady. Deliverables I expect: • A baseline cost-analysis report within the first week, highlighting quick wins • A revised production plan that meets the above quality metrics and shows projected savings • Daily or shift-wise dashboards tracking material yield, labour utilisation, and defect rate • End-of-month summary benchmarking progress against the agreed targets If you have a proven record of doing more with less in GRP, let’s talk.
