Einbinden DCF-77 Funkuhr: Hopf G102 in Linux

Job Description:

Ich habe einige Hopf G102 Funkuhren mit serieller Schnittstelle, die ich gern an Linux Systemen, optimal Raspberry Pi oder ähnliches betreiben will.

Die Funkuhren haben eine serielle Schnittstelle. Außerdem gibt es eine DOS Software, die bis Windows 98 funktioniert. Unter Windows 2000 funktioniert sie auch noch, stellt aber die Uhr nicht mehr, da das System die Funktion verweigert. Gerne stelle ich Uhr und Software zum Reverse Engineering bzw. zum Testen zur Verfügung. Die Uhr und Software darf der Programmierer dann gerne behalten.

Anbei noch 2 Bilder der Uhr, vielleicht kennt jemand das Gerät.

Bonus: Wer es schafft die Uhr mit USB Adapter sinnvoll einzubinden(+50€).

We have lot of HOPF G102 DCF-77 Radio Controlled clock with serial interface.
For this clock we have DOS/Windows Software working with Win95/98.
It also works with Win2k but does not set system clock then.
My idea and wish: Build a software solution for LINUX (opt. Rapsberry Pi) which enables system clock setting with the HOPF G102. It may be helpful to analyse Windows Software Solution, which I will deliver to the developer additional to the clock. The goal is that you deliver a solution which I can test then on another LINUX system in Germany. Remember, we have daylight saving time in EU! Solution must be able to switch to daylight saving Time.
So what we do is: Winner receives a HOPF clock and software in a package. Winner may keep clock after finish of the project.
Developer will send his solution to us and we test on different LINUX systems. If solution (also shell programming is welcome) is working (no GUI needed, just /etc/hopf.cfg) project is finished. Copyright and source code moves to us. If you manage to connect clock with adapter via USB you will receive a 50,-€ bonus.
