Help me install my own website locally on my computer. Windows 7. So I can run it offline

Personally, I'd say that setting up a local website is the easiest of tasks, to me at least, depending on what language you've used to design the website and what tools and utilities you're going to need setup. You'll be able to browse the website locally just as easy as if you're going to youtube or facebook. There is a web server software which you need to make your computer act as a web server. XAMP is the name of the package. Once installed it gives you functionality of CPanel ,PHP MY admin, also gives you acess to databases which can be easily monitored using a user friendly interface. I can walk you through the process and also give prerequisites for you to download before we start. I can also teach you to maintain the server and host multiple websites on the same computer.
