Currently have a batch of 100,000+, 350ppi TIFFs that need to be auto-cropped. The imaging was done on a copy stand. The base of the copy stand has a grid pattern so it is causing problems for MATLAB's edge detection. Looking for an MATLAB imaging processing expert who can help customize algorithm thresholds so we can use edge detection and auto-crop effectively. Will likely need some additional support as we implement testing on the larger batch of material. Will share current code and sample images with chosen contractor.
