My server is running a software that connects to the local MySQL database that is set up but it will not connect. I am not sure how to setup up what it needs to make a connection but there is a website that has instructions (below). Maybe I set up the wrong version of MySQL on the server or maybe there is just an error in the connection code to the database. The software I am using is trying to connect but there is something wrong or missing that is preventing the connection. The MySQL database that I am using is on the local server. I am running Windows 10. The database tables are there as shown in the link below. There is just no connection from the MySQL to the server to send messages.
