Senior developer for independent game company

We are a small independent game company based in San Francisco, California we are looking to fulfill a Senior engineering role we call a Senior Developer. Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the contractor must be available during at least ½ of the the “core” work hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (PST) Monday through Friday and must work 40 hours each week. We are a virtual team, relocation will never be required. The Senior Developer is responsible to effectively report to the production team on all of their outstanding projects, and be available to attend outstanding project’s daily stand ups if needed. • Attend team meetings, including project kick-off meetings, stand ups, and additional meetings needed • Create and update technical design documentation and architecture • Create and organize technical tasks • Create technical task lists and estimates for bidding process for new work, including detailing which library pieces will be used Required Skills: Solid understanding of web and mobile technology; at least 5 years of experience involving content creation, product development, and production • Fluent in c# • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred • Knowledge of iOS and Android development is required • Must maintain an entrepreneurial mindset • Able to work in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams • Proven ability to multi-task and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously • Ability to troubleshoot • Must be detail oriented, quality driven, straightforward, self-motivated and proactive • Able to communicate your vision to programmers, producers, and others involved in the development process • Able to accept constructive feedback on your work • Able to present your ideas both verbally and on paper • Strong written and verbal communication skills including the ability to communicate issues and report project design to a diverse non-technical audience • Have an awareness of the various games platforms and technologies • Able to work independently, creatively, and track multiple deadlines to success • Must be a team player
