Hi I am a database expert with 12 years experience in handling MS SQL and MySQL databases. I have worked as DBA for large ERP databases and use to write and do performance tuning for SQL queries, procedures and triggers. I have worked with several ERP databases to write queries and procedures to create custom reports. The slow query could be either due to a badly written query or due to the lack of proper indexing or a genuine delay due to huge volume of data. I would like to do some trial and error, try various options and see if the performance can be improved, without changing the functionality of the script. Is it possible to share the backup of the database, so that I can try it on my PC. If backup is not possible, an export of the tables involved also will be fine. Look forward to hear from you. yes. I can do. Need 2 hrs time to fix you performance issue. I may achieve the same functionality with same result in different way. But this will be done. I am sure it will be more than 50% performance gain. But once I will see the query then only I will be able to tell you how much we can achieve performance.
