Hello,
I am contacting you from a translation agency in the United States. We have a client that wanted us to translate an English e-book that they created in Madcap into eight other languages. We were unable to translate within the bizarre Madcap file types, such as .flimp, .flskn, etc. SO what we had to do was convert these files to .xml files and translate them. Now the problem I am running into is that, while everything is translated, I cannot convert these .xml files back into the MadCap file types so that when the client uploads the e-book to Madcap, they see a published German version of their English book, for example. We, as an agency, do not have MadCap software, nor do I know how to use it. I am wondering if it would be possible to send someone with MadCap software and experience, you for example, the translated files to put back into a publishable form. Any insight you can offer would be great.
Thank you!
