My new office is nearly ready, but I still need a skilled pair of hands to finish the practical set-up and smooth out a few tech wrinkles. Top priority is getting the computer firmly mounted to the desk, wired neatly, and talking seamlessly to the existing Brother printer and scanner. At the moment the scanner crawls unless I initiate the job from my laptop, so I’ll need you to pinpoint what’s slowing it down and correct it. Once the computer and peripherals are humming, there are several lighter but important tasks: • Assemble a prefabricated partition (clear instructions and hardware provided). • Straighten and secure a whiteboard that I managed to hang at a permanent “tilt.” • Install a small office camera as soon as it arrives. • Hook up two desk phones and an older fax machine that are on the way. • Bag up and walk the accumulated packing trash to the dumpster around the corner. I’ll be on site to hand over parts, passwords, and any extra tools you may need. Please be comfortable with basic carpentry hardware, Windows networking, printer/scanner drivers, and small-office cabling. If everything is buttoned up quickly, I may ask for help with any other equipment that shows up down the line, so a bit of flexibility is appreciated. Deliver the job when: – Computer is securely mounted, cabling tidy, and all attached devices (printer, scanner) operate without lag. – Partition stands solidly per the kit’s specs. – Whiteboard is level and firmly fixed. – Camera, phones, and fax power on and pass a quick functionality test. – No loose trash remains in the suite.
