I have a Maya model that I need to animate. The model is basically a 3D character wearing white Thobe (Arabic dress, robe-like, loose fabric). [url removed, login to view]
The body of the character is labeled with 31 colors. The upper body of the dress (Thobe) is labeled with 20 different colors.
The character is surrounded with 18-20 cameras. The task is to animate this character in the area between these cameras while simulating the dress (thobe) interactions. The character must perform the movements in 1000-2000 frames. The most important part is create a realistic simulation of the clothe (thobe).
The character must do the following:
1- walk slowly back and forth - look straight, left and right while walking.
2- walk with a short stretch to the left and right
3- simple jump (20-50 frames)
4- sit and look left and right
5- perform the poses in the attachment (thobe_poses)
Attachments:
1- [url removed, login to view]: shows how the thobe look like with different poses. The character must perform these poses and the thobe should be positioned accordingly.
