Developing racing game for multiple platforms

Heaven2Eleven is new independent game development studio, headquartered in USA with branch office in Europe, primarily focused on developing racing game for multiple platforms. We’re looking for highly skilled Lead 3D Artist to join our team of developers, graphic artists and testers. The Lead 3D Artist is responsible to create 3D game assets and manage, mentor, and help train game artists. The job applicant must have excellent organization and communication skills and be familiar with risk assessment and planning. The ideal candidate is self-motivated and continuously seeks to improve their skills and abilities with regards to 3D asset creation. Responsibilities: The Lead Artist is responsible for the overall look of the game. Working with the Game Designer and Lead Programmer, the Lead Artist devises the game’s visual style and directs the production of all visual material throughout the game’s development. Requirements: • At least 5-7 years of work experience in game industry (AAA or AA games); • 1 to 2 years experience as a Team Leader; • Should have worked at least 3 to 4 Game titles; • Must have very good experience and knowledge in Unity; • A very positive professional attitude with all team members; • In collaboration with the Art Director and Producer, devise the overall visual style of games; • Very deep knowledge of 3D modeling workflows (Max or Maya), of creating textures; • Materials compatible with rendering models, and of physically based rendering (PBR); • Very familiar with NextGen game techniques; • Amazing Experience with ZBrush, Photoshop, xNormal, Quixel SUITE, Substance Designer/Painter (Albedo, Roughness, Normal, Spec, AO, etc.); • Creates artwork as per established quality and time standards; • Understand capabilities of the team & mentors team members to become more proficient; • Organize regular Art check-ins to evaluate progress and share feedback; • Overseeing any outsourced art production; • Must have a great communication skills; • Passion, energy and enthusiasm.
