Hey! I can accurately translate English to Brazilian Portuguese (and vice versa), the most spoken Portuguese variant in the world. I'm a native Portuguese speaker, and I've been proficient in English for many years now. I've also got a High School certificate by both Texas Tech University and University of Missouri, both of which require a high proficiency level in many English skills. In my translations I also take into consideration the correct parallelism between slangs and jargons of one country and the other I'm translating to. A lot of people translate the text word by word without taking into account the true meaning behind the words and terms being used in a particular regional expression. I always make sure I translate such slangs in a way that makes sense in the translated language while keeping both original meaning and tone. Being a huge science/technology enthusiast, I'm very familiar with the language used in engineering and in the tech industry. I believe this will greatly help me with your task. Not to mention I'd have loads of fun while doing it hahah. I read science/tech blogs and articles on a daily basis, so it would be really nice to be a part of one of them! My dollar/word rate ranges between $0.02-$0.04/word. It rarely gets to $0.04 (it all depends on my agenda). For now I have enough free time so it will most likely be equals to or less than $0.03/word, but we can discuss this more in depth.
