Live-In Assistant & Cultural Guide

I’ll be based in Ho Chi Minh City for the next two months and want a reliable person living on-site who can act first and foremost as my English ↔ Vietnamese interpreter and cultural guide. You’ll have your own room in the condo I’m renting, all meals covered, and your travel costs paid any time you accompany me. Our main focus is seamless, real-time language support—explaining local customs, helping me negotiate, and suggesting authentic places to visit. Beyond that, you’ll keep my daily life running smoothly: book dinner reservations, arrange taxis or train tickets inside Vietnam, and handle light household errands. I’m not looking for a full-blown travel agent; some experience with local bookings and an organised approach are plenty. Key deliverables • Clear, accurate interpreting during travel, shopping, dining, and excursions • Arrange and accompany me on travelTravel companion — acting as cultural guide and language liaison • Household supplies kept stocked, with receipts organised for my records Fluency in both English and Vietnamese is essential. A valid passport is also required because short trips outside the country—may pop up. The initial commitment is two months, but I’m open to extending if we work well together.
