I’m in the final stretch of a 2D browser-based online game. It uses C# frontend, Golang backend, Cockroach DB, Spine software for animations, Xsolla for payments. Currently most problematic is final touch for the core of the game - players action flow. It seems that current supplier didnt make it good so they dont know what to do effectively. I won't accept any automatic bid on my project. I prefer companies. Long-term cooperation possible. You need to have portfolio of similar projects (no mobile games development only).

You're in the final polish phase of a 2D browser game where the weakest link is the player action flow between client (C#/Unity + Spine) and backend (Go + CockroachDB + Xsolla). When this layer is unstable, gameplay feels inconsistent and hard to reason about. I’d rebuild the action flow as a deterministic pipeline between client input, server validation, and state replication to remove ambiguity in timing/ownership and ensure consistent sync across Unity and Go. I’d audit event handling, isolate race conditions, and standardize message contracts between frontend and backend. Small improvement: introduce clear client-side prediction rules to make movement/actions feel responsive without breaking server authority. I can align this flow so gameplay feels stable and predictable end-to-end. Q1: Where does desync happen most: input, combat resolution, or animation state updates? Q2: Is server currently authoritative for all player actions or partially client-trusted? Q3: Do you have a defined event schema for actions between Unity and Go services?

Hi, please review my feedback, more than 5 unity game projects contribute and migrate version from old to latest 6. I have gone through your project description and understand you’re finalizing a 2D browser MMO with Unity/C# frontend and Go backend, but the current issue is the player action flow not working correctly and needs a clean, stable fix. I have worked on multiplayer game backends using Golang, real-time player state handling, and backend game logic integration with Unity. I also have experience with database-driven game systems (including event/action sync, player state consistency, and payment integration like Xsolla). For this, I would review your current player action flow, fix the backend logic in Go, ensure proper sync between Unity and CockroachDB, and stabilize the full action pipeline so player interactions behave consistently in real time. Best regards, Juan

You’re right to flag the player action flow as the blocker — when server authority, event ordering, and client prediction aren’t aligned the whole game feels wrong. The real issue is usually mismatched assumptions between the Unity/C# client and the Go server about action timing and reconciliation. I recently finished fixing action/combat sync for a WebGL 2D MMO (Unity client, Go backend, distributed SQL) where I rebuilt the server-side action queue, added deterministic reconciliation, and reduced perceived latency with lightweight client prediction. My plan: quickly audit the repo and replay logs, map the current action flow, add a server-authoritative event queue with timestamps, implement reconciliation/rollback for mispredicted actions, then add tests and monitoring. I’ll also check CockroachDB write patterns and Xsolla callbacks to ensure no race conditions. My bid is $1,125. Can you give me read access to the codebase and the Spine assets so I can prepare a concrete fix plan and timeline?

Hi, This sounds less like a feature-completion task and more like a gameplay-flow stabilization problem inside the authoritative backend layer. With Unity/C# frontend + Golang backend + CockroachDB, I’d first inspect how actions are processed server-side — especially synchronization, validation, state transitions, concurrency handling, combat/event timing, and websocket/session flow. In multiplayer games, small architectural mistakes there create cascading gameplay issues that become difficult to patch late in development. The right approach is usually to stabilize the action-processing pipeline itself rather than continue adding fixes around it. Once the core flow is corrected, many secondary gameplay issues disappear automatically. I’ve worked on large-scale interactive/game-like systems and real-time application architectures, including multiplayer/AR-oriented projects and performance-sensitive platforms. Relevant work includes Google Multiplayer AR Game and Explore 837 Augmented Reality. From your description, this likely needs an engineer who can step into an existing system, reverse-engineer the gameplay flow quickly, and make production-level backend decisions without overcomplicating the stack further.
