Modern “Roots & Rows” Logo

I’m building the visual identity for my company, Roots and Rows, and need a modern logo that cleverly weaves the two initials—R & R—into a single mark while also hinting at both underground roots and clean, orderly crop rows. I’d like the design to live strictly in black and white so it stays versatile across print, web, embroidery, and packaging. Please keep the look contemporary rather than rustic or abstract; sharp geometry, balanced negative space, and smart line work are welcome. I imagine the R’s could flow into root-like tendrils beneath, with their upper strokes aligning to suggest parallel field rows, yet I’m open to any inventive solution that communicates the play between what happens below ground and above. Legibility is key, but I’m after a logo that feels iconic and immediately ownable.
