Position Overview: The Video Editor will be responsible for planning, filming, and editing videos that will be used for weekly services, advertisements, films, conferences and social media content. This position will assist in the development of the use of distributed video. This includes helping lead and develop volunteer video staff and helping manage/over the expectations of teams and systems at ANWA. Principle Accountabilities: Team Management -Support the Lead Video Editor in the expansion and management of film/b-roll team at ANWA Headquarters and extension campuses. -Help ensure a weekly rotation for each video shoot or service is adequately staffed with volunteers. Train and coach film/b-roll teams on field production techniques and standards. Creative Direction -Help produce weekly recap videos. -Create short promotional videos for marketing purposes. -Work with ministry leaders to develop training/teaching videos. -Plan, film, edit and post lifestyle video content for ANWA YouTube channel. -Tell concise, visually pleasing stories for social media, documentaries and short films. Equipment -Help oversee the security, operation and maintenance of equipment utilized in shooting and editing. -Audit and test equipment to determine technical quality of recording, audio and lighting production. -Make technical decisions regarding such elements as appropriate lighting, shooting angle and placement, and microphone usage. Other duties -Upload video footage to server for archiving purposes. -Participate in the creative development of projects and deliverables. -Assist in production set up, break down and transfer. -Help monitor technical quality of volunteer projects. -Support photography team at in-city campuses as needed.
