Social Media Video Producer

Christopher Kimball’s Milk Street—a multiplatform food media company—is looking for a Boston-based up-and-coming smartphone videographer who wants to gain real-world experience by producing and shooting short videos targeted at our social media audience. All filming will take place in our downtown Boston office, where we have a fully operational kitchen. Work will be performed in a freelance capacity, using your smartphone. This is a fast-paced startup environment: The ideal candidate has strong communication skills and is resourceful, creative, quick-thinking and attuned to the latest industry trends. They must be able to function collaboratively in a team environment, but must also be able to work efficiently and independently when necessary. Responsibilities include: Work onsite with our team to produce video content created specifically to be posted to our social media channels. Deliver edited video content with rapid turnaround times. Ensure consistent technical quality and aesthetics for all footage. Deliver video content that demonstrates a high level of attention to detail (make sure there are no smudges on the object being filmed, adjust for unintended reflections, etc.).
