Recode VB 6.0 string functions to DOT NET DLL that is callable from C#

I have a commercial data linkage program written in VB6. A potential client wishes to use the data linkage functions from within a C# program operating within a web environment. The C# program reads and writes data from a MS SQL database; although you will not need to make calls to the database. You must supply a .NET DLL containing the main data linkage functions (written in either VB.NET or C#). This DLL must be able to be called from C# (and preferably also from VB.NET). You must also supply C# example code for testing the routine and supply the source code as well as the compiled DLL. Most DLL functions will return a numerical or string value. There may be several numeric and/or string parameters to be inputted into the routine. I will supply the VB 6.0 code which you can use as an example for recoding. Examples of key functions include: - Testing whether one name agrees with another name - Rewrapping of an existing SOUNDEX function -Rewrapping of NYSIIS function (like SOUNDEX) - Testing whether one name agrees with 1 of 30,000+ nick names (you will need to consider whether the list of names will be referenced) - Standardisation of business name (eg ACME MOTORS INTL. LTD becomes ACME MOTORS). - Correction of common default values (eg UNKNOWN PERSON) - Correction of common mistakes with Asian names (eg the use of ‘Van’ or ‘Thi’ in the first name field). You need to supply an appropriate quotation for the work so that I can quote my client. If I win the work then one of you will win the work, otherwise the project will not proceed. Your work must be first class and professional (ideally you will program for a day job and be looking for some additional money after hours). You must have a significant experience in .NET and use good coding standards including naming conventions. Please supply an approximate quotation as well as any references to similar projects that you have completed. If the project proceeds then I will supply you with a more detailed functional specification as well as some example code. You will also need to sign a Non-Disclosure agreement.
