Our intention is to create a Portal for all our websites while at the same time creating an Advertising Landing Page which acts as a Directory.
The project is to create the Advertising Landing Page which we will then incorporate into our Portal.
The Landing Page will need to incorporate Banner Rotation technology (eg REVSENSE) as well as technology to detect that a Link has been created on another website linking to us.
The Landing Page will look similar to a series of varying size photographs and will contain a 468x60 Banner plus a Tower Banner plus a further Banner, size yet to be determined. The Banners are for displaying adverts for websites that Link to us.
As already mentioned, the Landing Page will house a series of varying size images, each image representing a Category such as ARTS, BUSINESS, COMPUTERS, GAMES, HOME, KIDS & TEENS, NEWS, RECREATION, SCIENCE, SHOPPING, SOCIETY, SPORTS. The idea is that when a surfer rests the mouse over an Image text will display with full details of what the image represents. On clicking the image, the surfer would be taken to an area on the site housing details of all websites linking to us that fit that category.
We will offer to provide free banner advertising for each website that links to us hence the need for technology to detect a valid link has been created. The Link will need to exist before the advert can be loaded.
At present I am posting this project in a basic manner and I expect there will be requests for more specific information and the Projet will be adjusted as necessary.
After considerable discussion we are updating this project to enable bidders to re-evaluate their bids.
The project is to create a website which will be used to advertise on behalf of potentially thousands of other websites using Banner Management Software enabling us to display Banners on the website we are going to be creating, but also enable affiliated sites to also display Banners which we control. Advertisers need to be able to check their statistics from a control panel which they can access. We have sourced a software which we believe has the capacity to do this. The software comes from REVSENSE, however if there is software that can do a better job we would certainly consider using it.
Before a website can use our facility they must provide a link to us and we therefore need a method of checking that the link to us exists before a website can proceed to upload an advert for us to display.
The website will be a Directory comprising about 15 or 16 main categories with hundreds of sub categories the display of which will look similar to http://games.ladbrokes.com where we will use images to depict different main categories with a short description of each category and a click through to the sub categories. We will position a Tower Banner to the right of the display and a 468 x 60 Banner top right. The Adobe Flash screen will be used to promote anything we choose to and may be re-positioned subject to design considerations.
The website needs to encapsulate an Email Capture Facility powered by an Autoresponder. We have an account with Get Response.
Basically the process will be to create an environment where a website wishing us to promote their service will need to enter an email to join our service.
The website wishing to join has to create a link to us from a prominent page on their website and before they can upload a Banner or any other form of Advert, our software needs to establish that the link exists before the website can post the Banner or advert.
Hopefully this fuller description will enable many of the bidders to re-evaluate their bids.
