convert vbs to applescript

I have a basic script written in VBS that I'd like converted to AppleScript. The VBS script accesses the iTunes API and loops through the iTunes library object, filling associative arrays so that the user's listening habits can be tallied. It then writes them to a file. In an ideal world, it would be nice if the script were accessible via iTunes on a Mac similar to Doug's AppleScripts for iTunes. For more info, please visit iTunesStats.com. The script is 884 lines but a lot of it is repetitive code where it is either looping to fill the arrays or looping through them to write them to the file.
