## Project Title Japanese Voice Recording Project – Native Japanese Speakers with English Proficiency (125 Participants Needed) --- ## Project Description We are recruiting **125 native Japanese speakers** for a **Japanese–English bilingual voice recording project**. Participants must be **native Japanese speakers** who are also **able to communicate in English**. The project consists of **2-person conversational recordings**, where conversations naturally include **both Japanese and English**. The recordings will be used for AI and speech technology applications. --- ## Project Volume (Important) * Total required recording volume: **250 hours** * This volume is **not per person** * Recording hours will be distributed among all approved participants --- ## Language Requirements Applicants must meet **both** of the following requirements: * **Native Japanese speaker** * **Able to speak and understand English** (conversational level or higher) Participants may apply individually. Conversation partners will be assigned if needed. --- ## Recording & Equipment Requirements All applicants must meet the following requirements: * Professional external microphone (phone or headset microphones are not accepted) * Quiet, noise-free recording environment * Ability to participate in Japanese–English bilingual conversations * Clear pronunciation and balanced speaking time * No background noise, music, or audio effects A **photo of the recording equipment** and a **short sample recording** are required for approval. --- ## Project Scope * Total participants needed: **125 people** * Recording format: **2-person Japanese–English conversations** * Individual contribution: limited number of hours * Flexible schedule * Milestone-based delivery * Possibility of future projects for reliable contributors ## Ideal Candidates * Native Japanese speakers with English communication skills * Comfortable participating in bilingual conversations * Previous voice recording experience is a plus * Access to professional recording equipment * Ability to follow technical instructions carefully
