I have a BSNL fibre connection in Bangalore that already comes with a fixed public IPv4 address. When I’m in Chennai I connect my laptop through a 4G mobile hotspot, but the services I use for work must see the same Bangalore IP. To make that happen I need a full-tunnel VPN solution that I control end-to-end. Here is what I’m after: • Design and explain the best topology for routing all my laptop traffic through my Bangalore line, so every site and corporate firewall sees the static IP. • Set up and secure my own VPN server (OpenVPN, WireGuard or IPSec—whichever you feel suits the hardware/firmware limits of the BSNL router or a small Linux box I can place behind it). • Configure the BSNL router: port-forwarding, NAT and any firewall rules needed so the VPN remains reachable from outside the house. • Provide Windows 10/11 client files and clear instructions so I can one-click connect from Chennai and instantly inherit the Bangalore address. • Show me quick verification steps—command line or web checks—that prove the public IP is indeed the static one. • Finish with a brief hardening pass (strong ciphers, key rotation advice, disabling unused ports). A short remote session to watch the tunnel come up from my Chennai laptop will be the final acceptance step, and I’ll need copies of all config files or scripts for future rebuilds.
