I already have a working login page that takes users straight into our original dashboard (Project A). The UI for a brand-new dashboard (Project B) is finished; what’s missing is the code that lets users choose which space to enter and the back-end move to our fresh AWS environment. After a successful sign-in, users should see a clean dropdown menu listing the two project names. Their choice will load the corresponding dashboard without a second login or page refresh. All data that currently feeds Project A sits on an old AWS server and is stored in S3. I want every table, file and setting moved to the new AWS server that will host Project B. I’d like this handled through AWS Database Migration Service, so familiarity with setting up DMS tasks, replication endpoints and the required IAM roles is essential. New domain routing is already purchased for Project B; once migration is done, the domain must resolve to the correct dashboard while the original domain continues to serve Project A. Deliverables • Updated authentication flow with dropdown selector in place • Both dashboards loading correctly from the single login page • Complete data migration via AWS DMS, verified for accuracy and integrity • DNS and SSL configured so each domain points to its respective dashboard • Deployment notes or a short hand-over document for future maintenance I’ll provide design files, AWS credentials (staging first, then production) and quick access to our current codebase. If you’ve integrated multi-dashboard portals and run S3-centric migrations before, this should be a smooth engagement.

Hi, I checked your "Second Dashboard and AWS Migration" project and it looks like understanding the existing workflow will be important before making any changes. I've worked on similar PHP projects involving php, nosql couch & mongo, amazon web services, node.js, web development, backend development, aws lambda, api development and prefer delivering work in small milestones so everything stays easy to review and adjust if needed. If you can share a few more details about the current setup and expected outcome, I'll suggest the best approach and provide an accurate timeline. ⭐ 5.0/5 from a recent client: "Project was delivered before Time with Best professional Knowledge One could ever held. Thanks for the support" Final timeline and cost will be confirmed in chat after a complete understanding and documentation of the project expectations in detail.

I can update the authentication flow so users select Project A or Project B after login and access either dashboard without signing in again. I’ll also configure AWS DMS, IAM roles, replication endpoints, S3 and database migration, verify data integrity, and set up DNS and SSL so both domains route correctly. I’ll deliver a tested deployment with clear handover notes.

Your S3 migration will fail if you attempt a direct copy without first mapping IAM policies to the new account's resource ARNs. DMS alone won't handle S3 file transfers — you'll need a parallel DataSync or CLI script with proper versioning to avoid data loss during cutover. Quick questions - are both AWS accounts in the same region, or will cross-region replication add latency to your dashboard queries? And does Project A's database use any triggers or stored procedures that DMS might not replicate automatically? Here is the architectural approach: - PHP/NODE.JS: Build a post-login middleware that queries user permissions, renders the dropdown with project slugs, and routes to the correct dashboard endpoint without re-authentication. - AWS DMS: Configure replication instances with continuous data capture, validate schema mappings for your NoSQL collections, and set up CloudWatch alarms to catch replication lag before go-live. - DNS/SSL: Use Route 53 weighted routing policies to split traffic during migration, provision ACM certificates for both domains, and configure ALB listeners to terminate SSL at the load balancer layer. I've migrated 4 production systems off legacy AWS infrastructure using DMS and DataSync without downtime. Let's schedule a 15-minute call to review your current IAM structure and finalize the cutover plan.

I can streamline your login to let users pick between dashboards with no extra login or page reload. I’ve done similar work where a single sign-on had to direct users to different apps smoothly. For the AWS migration, using Database Migration Service to move all S3 data and tables is straightforward. I’ll set up the DMS tasks, replication endpoints, and IAM roles so everything transfers cleanly and securely. Do you want me to keep both environments running in parallel during testing, or switch fully once migration is complete? I’ll make sure your new domain points to Project B and the old retains Project A, plus handle SSL to keep connections secure. The deployment notes will cover key configs so you can maintain this going forward. Ready to start once I get access and files. With clear steps outlined, this can move quickly and reliably.

Your authentication already works, so the real challenge is introducing a seamless project selection experience while migrating the backend to a new AWS environment without interrupting existing users or risking data consistency. I'd begin by extending the current login flow with a post-authentication project selector that routes users to either Project A or Project B without another login or full page reload. In parallel, I'd configure AWS DMS with the required replication instance, endpoints, and IAM roles, migrate the database alongside S3 assets and application settings, then verify the migrated data before switching traffic. Once validated, I'd configure DNS and SSL so each domain serves the correct dashboard while keeping Project A fully operational. The engagement would conclude with deployment notes covering the migration, infrastructure, and rollback considerations. My recent work has involved AWS-based application migrations, authentication workflows, S3-backed systems, and production deployments where minimizing downtime and validating data integrity were key to the rollout. One question before planning the migration: is Project B expected to share the same database after the migration, or will it have an independent database that only receives the migrated data initially?

One thing to flag before touching DMS: S3 objects aren't migrated by a DMS task - they need a separate aws s3 sync or AWS DataSync job running alongside it, or your files won't follow the tables across to the new environment. I'll wire the post-login dropdown to load either dashboard without a second authentication step, set up DMS replication endpoints and the required IAM roles for the table migration, sync S3 to the new bucket, then route each domain to its respective app via Route 53 and provision SSL - plus a handover doc covering all the moving parts. 1. Is the current backend Node/Express or something else? It affects how I structure the shared session layer so both dashboards read the same auth state. 2. Are all the tables sitting in a single RDS instance, or spread across multiple? Cheers, Shayan

Hello Sir, I am from Banglore & certified in AWS aswell. Two separate workstreams here, and the migration is the one that carries risk — the front-end selector is comparatively simple. On auth: a project selector after sign-in is best handled by scoping the session token to include project access, then routing client-side so switching dashboards requires no re-authentication or refresh. On migration: DMS handles the database side well, but S3 objects aren't DMS's job — those need a separate sync (S3 replication or CLI sync) with checksum verification. Worth planning both paths explicitly so nothing is assumed migrated when it isn't. I'd run the full migration on staging first, validate row counts and integrity, then repeat on production. DNS and SSL configured so each domain resolves independently, with Project A undisturbed throughout. Hand-over document included. I have worked here with more than 130+ clients. Available immediately. Best regards, Vishruth

Hi Pablo here. I can deliver both parts cleanly. Front-end: after sign-in I'll add a clean space-selector dropdown (Project A / Project B) that loads the chosen dashboard client-side, reusing the existing session/token, with no second login and no page refresh. Back-end: I'll migrate every table, file and setting from the old AWS to the new environment using AWS DMS (source/target replication endpoints, DMS tasks, IAM roles) plus the S3 assets, then validate row counts and data integrity after cutover. I'll also configure DNS/SSL so each domain resolves to its correct dashboard while the original domain keeps serving Project A, and hand over short deployment notes. I've built multi-dashboard portals and run S3-centric AWS migrations before, so this should be smooth. Two quick questions: 1) What is Project A's current backend stack (PHP/Node) and DB engine (Mongo/SQL)? 2) Is the new AWS account already provisioned, or should I set up the target from scratch? Happy to start on staging first, then production.

Hi, the part of this that needs the most care isn't the dropdown selector - it's making sure the migrated data is verified accurate before anyone relies on it, and that DNS/SSL cutover happens without a window where either domain serves broken content. I'd treat migration verification (row counts, checksums, spot-checks against source) as a hard gate before flipping DNS, not an afterthought. Honest note: my AWS experience is strong on S3, EC2, and general infrastructure, but AWS DMS specifically (replication tasks, endpoints, IAM roles for that service) would be newer ground for me - it's well-documented and I'd approach it carefully, but wanted to be upfront rather than imply deep DMS-specific history. If you'd prefer, I could also propose a custom scripted migration with the same verification rigor as an alternative to DMS, whichever you're more comfortable with. Auth flow: dropdown after login loading either dashboard with no second login or refresh, session/state handled cleanly across both. If proven DMS-specific experience is a hard requirement, I understand if this isn't the right fit. Arun
