Our travel company includes three main applications: 1. The website for B2C which can be used to book fixed tours and live inventory updated homestays. Also to send requests for customised tours, homestays and experiences. To maintain live inventory the homestays are integrated with channel managers. Channel manager is a system which ensures that the inventory is maintained across online travel agents/OTAs like MMT, [login to view URL], Airbnb etc. 2. The travel agent websites for B2B partners - so that they can directly book the live inventory homestays and send requests for others. 3. Host application - this mobile application will be mainly accessed by the homestay or property owners so that they can see all their bookings and maintain live inventory if they have any bookings directly. All the above application has a central database which helps to keep the inventory up to date. As the first phase of the above application is being made the major work would be to do a thorough code review and testing. The enhancements would be worked upon once the handover from old vendor is accepted completed by the new resource. It would be the responsibility of the resource to takes over a well-assessed and tested quality product from the current vendor. We are looking for a resource, who can work independently in Java , mysql and has worked with mobile applications. The resource should be flexible to work on any phase of the SDLC cycle. We being a new startup are looking for a solution provider and with very good technical skills. We need the resource to not only work on the requirements but also suggest how technology can be used to improve the user experience in the website and the mobile application. The most important aspect is time to market. Would like to work with the resource who can assess and share the timelines with not more than 10% deviation. Regular update on the progress of the work and any risk or issues needs to be highlighted as soon as possible. The resource has to follow up regularly to get the information required so that there is no delay in the deliverables.
