Hi, first please read this description. Any automatic bids will be 100% disregarded. I run a marketing technology firm. We specialize in WordPress and Drupal. I am looking for someone with advanced WordPress skills who knows how to optimize WordPress sites correctly. You need experience in: - Very profecient in PHP, JS, HTML, and CSS. Must have experience creating custom sites with very little bloat. Obsessed with clean functional code and modular behavior. - Understanding speed optimization (minifiy files, critical css, server speed, image optimzation, render blocking etc) - Must be comfortable with Gulp and other task managers - Must be knowledgable about how to run Critical Css on a WordPress installation - Must be expert on minification, enqueing and dequeing files with or without a plugin - Must understand how to read server responses and how to optimize behavior - Must be able to troubleshoot problems if minimizing certain files causes the site to break - Must be able to make suggestions and/or make changes to create a smaller DOM - Understand image optimization and use of lazy loading - Export knowledge of cache - Understand how to create a clean WordPress architecture that removes any bloat, looks professional, and reduces calls by combining files. The site is hosting on Digital Ocean droplet and uses serverpilot. I want someone who can use [login to view URL] and other metric sites to figure out issues, as well as console tools to understand how to make the site faster and get better metrics. We want to create clean code. **Very important: Not only do I want this done but I want to understand your process so we can better understand for future site development. Think of this as not only a job but also that you are a consultant and teacher. If you do well on this first site, there are plenty more for you to work on. ** You must estimate the hours it will take and then abide by that estimate unless there is unforseen issues or added work.

Hello, I have 7 years of experience in WordPress development. I had started my career as a WordPress developer in one of the MNC in India and continued till 7 years climbing from position of Trainee developer to Sr. Developer. I left the job to start my freelance career along with 4 of my friends few months ago. We too are startup . We are currently looking for a long term projects. I have mentioned five steps which should be taken to speed up the website: 1) Use of Gzip compression , enable use of browser caching and server caches like Memcache, Redis, Varnish, Memcache 2) Use optimized images if possible in nex gen format viz: Webp, JPEG 2000 etc. Use of CDN can be done to improve image loading time. Lazy loading can be implemented if required. 3) Minify JS/CSS. Merge or bundle it. Merge will increase reder blocking so best to bundle it. However, it depends on website. Also, asynchronous loading of CSS and JS should be done. 4) HTTP request should be minimized where possible. 5) Optimize the code to improve MySql response time, reduce processing time etc. Let me know if you fine me suitable for the job Regards, Ali

Hello Sir, You are correct with all your highlighted points. All the mention libraries , packages , build tools are very necessary for optimization. Applying Critical Css is quite time consuming work and critical as well , but no worries , i had work on applying for my two good projects. About Modular Behavior , I am also working on Vue , so quite familiar with modulars as well. Gulp and webpack as on high demand , to build a optimized website. Experienced We will be also working on light plugins , and light libraries , and also working on optimized font files. We can also defer javascript where needed to increase the load time as well. Please revert so that we can have some deep discussion and start working on the requirements as well.
