My roles in this capacity include conducting assessments and selecting program participants for the different entrepreneurship programs offered by Empretec Zimbabwe. Foundations for the counsellee

Foundations for the counsellee is an article that prepares the client for the counselling session. It guides the client through personal issues and misconceptions that may deter the client from fully benefitting from counselling ntervention. For instance a client may want to take counselling as a one day event and not have patience to go through the process. The article clears misconceptions concerning counselling and advising so that the counsellee is fully aware of what they are getting into.

The emotional wound is an article written with to lay a foundation for the counselling client as they prepare for a counselling session. It sheds light on the similarities between a physical wound such as that from a dog bite and he emotional wound. The treatment procedures mirror each other and it is important for the client to realise this. The emotional wound though unseen should not be downplayed. It has potential of becoming septic just like a physical wound if not attended to correctly.

It brings out the resilience of these women in as they strategize and overcome security barriers that threaten their line of work and family well-being.
