Ivo is a competent coder but did not test his work nor have a good idea on clarity of screen layouts. My project was simple - update the Xcode from 3 to 14.2. This was done but many errors crept in. Part of the problem was that it was a medical app that required clarity in screen layout. I gave him access to a working version of the App but he could not download it. He badgered me for extra money/early release of milestones. I would not work with him again

TLDR: Very BAD Experience Initially assured he could fix all bugs. I had a list of bugs to be fixed in an app that he was able to see working in the simulator. My initial requirement was that other than fixing bugs, relevant code had to be written properly following swift5 standards vs swift 3 We agreed on a budget and delivery date of 1 week. 5 weeks passed and the items are still not completed. Now apparently a couple of them are not possible to do in IOS, but that was never mentioned before I had to go back and forth explaining what issues/bugs need to be fixed, although it was all understandable before awarding the project. It is frequent that he says this is how things work in IOS (Which was false a few times) He is very unprofessional with the communication, he will start calling if he doesn't receive an answer within minutes of sending a message, yet he disappears for days with no updates He is very insistent to get paid (not a milestone) before the project starts HE didn't want to work with code in GIT and had to have a copy of the code sent to him He didn't want to share the fixes he did in the source code, until the all payments were made Insisted I give him 5 star reviews with every fix before completing fixes He didn't want to deliver code until he got a promise for another milestone(not our initial agreement) He got angry when informed I will release milestone the seond day after code verification Very unpleasant experience.
