Über Mich
I've built websites for clients large and small. I work in the eLearning field but I draw on a broad range of skills and experiences – in education, training and technology. I’ve developed corporate and Healthcare related elearning with Articulate and Lectora, and worked with Moodle, Cornerstone, and in-house LMSs. I like seeing what the tools can do and how different tools can work together: ex) Moodle inside Joomla via Joomdle OR WordPress as an LMS via LearnDash. My recent gigs include: LMS Administrator and eLearning Developer at OHSU, Learning Solutions Developer building corporate e-learning for GP Strategies, and Moodle and WordPress administrator for Aperio International. I’m proficient with most training development tools including Captivate, Articulate, Lectora, Moodle and Blackboard, and have also worked in web development and design for many years, so I can also work with code, set up web servers, backup and restore sites, and troubleshoot all things online. My academic training involved studying Educational Technology and Instructional Design in San Diego State University’s award winning Masters Degree program, and hold two other post-graduate level certifications verifying my training in and knowledge of adult learning theory and learning in general. Some tools I work with: Moodle, Joomla, Word Press, LearnDash, Lectora, Cornerstone, Photoshop, Flash, Macs, Windows, various 3D, and game design tools.
