ULTRASOUND 3D

3D Ultrasound imaging involves acquiring several two-dimensional images by moving the probe across the body. The two-dimensional scans are then combined by L3D software to form 3D images. The Matrox frame grabber card & Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) are used to capture the video frames & Grabb frames respectively from the 2D-ultrasound machine video output to the 3D-ultrasound volumetric data display. The software provides various post processing facilities (rotating the 3D image, slicing the 3D image, Zoom, applying different color to image and sculpting etc.). It also provides various rendering techniques like MIP for B/W data, MIP for color data, volume rendering for B/W data, volume rendering for color data and transparency volume rendering. Technology Used : VC++/MFC, STL, Matrox Imaging Library.
