OUR SOLUTION Due to an extremely tight time frame, Truelogic’s iOS team and our international partner Devious Media built the app from scratch in a quarter of the time normally required for an app of this caliber, and for one-tenth of the price. Using Drupal as the CMS, the app was developed to access the content created, entered and managed by the webmasters of Emmys.com. As a crucial feature of this app is the ability to access and view videos of all Emmy-related events, Truelogic re-coded all the Academy’s videos that were hosted on Brightcove so that they can be viewed on future iOS mobile devices as well as on today’s versions of the iPhone, iPad, and iTouch. And thanks to Drupal’s web services, any information uploaded to the Emmy website is automatically loaded onto the app, keeping it completely up-to-date with all the news the user might be interested in.
