Kurzbeschreibung des Wettbewerbs
I need you to design 10 icons for a CAD new user interface (1st project), the chosen one will develop the full UI icons containing about 600 icons :
You can find attached 10 icons examples (taken from autocad&Sketchup) because this is 2 style that we want. These are basic commands, like draw arc, line, import, export etc.. The improvement would be to have in all icons max 2-3 colors (1 color for the entity, line for example, 1 color for the action, example "cut the line"). This software is oriented to Architect and building professional.
The interface will have 2 kinds of background (Light and Dark let's say grey, but it can be modified). What I need for now is just to select who will be the chosen one to design the 600 icons.
You can take for now as background the same as photoshop :
Light : #535353
Dark : #282828
What I need for each icon is :
1 representation on Dark background
1 representation on Light background
1 representation of the icon when the mouse pass over
1 representation when icon is activated
1 representation when icon is disactivated
You can take as reference photoshop & Autocad that have clean interface.
You need to focus more on the shape of the icon. You can just add some png files for now just to see the visual of each representations of those 10 icons and the chosen one will design if agreed the 600 icons needed.
If you have some experience in UI design, it will help of course, if you know a bit about CAD industry, it will help more.

for example the icon for LINE : can be one diagonal line whitey / then the icon to CUT A LINE can be the same line whitey plus a red line crossing it. so the white represents the nature of elements and the red color represents the action (if exists). I don't want too many colors. I think that with 2 or max 3 it is OK

Has to be photoshop style (so for better visual I guess kind of white) and you can add a color like red to show the action.
