Design an album cover for our band's album, "Coming Home". We are remixing, remastering, and re-releasing our debut album and are looking to have the album cover redesigned. The scope of this contest is limited to the front cover at this time.
Name of the album: Coming Home
Name of the artist: The Vinyl Goods
Artist name and album title should appear on the cover, preferably in a stenciled style similar to the font used in our band logos (attached). You don't need to include the guitar image.
Photography is the preferred style for the artwork (versus illustrations). Artwork should reflect album title, style of music, and lyrics in the album's title track "I'm Coming Home".

Our original vision for the album cover was a image of the house described in the song (e.g. mailbox by the road, sunlight on the porch, woman in the door, dusty/gravel road/driveway, etc.). However, we are open to other interpretations. Be creative!!

Please refer to the style of our most recent album cover to get an idea of what we like (see attached "The Light of Day")
Final deliverable must be a high resolution (minimum 300 ppi) JPEG image (3000 x 3000 pixels in size), AND deliverable must include original, uncompressed, layered PSD file.

This takes a bit of work corrections, texts, backgrounds editing, editing all this takes work sir I think the reasonable would be for the minimum 100 $ do not believe you a fair price for the best design of your album.!

Thanks for the response. Your Freelancer.com profile does not appear to contain any samples of your work. If we can see samples of your prior work, and the relative quality we're seeing for $50, we'd be more inclined to increase the prize. Can you provide some reference material?

Another concept to consider in your design...if you're going with the mailbox motif, have the name of the album, release date, and location in the form of a postmark. For the postmark, use date of Nov. 11, 1994 and location as Bensenville, IL.

We're only asking for a front cover, not complete CD/album artwork, so we thought this was reasonable. Plus, we've provided specific background images, detailed description, and we're already seeing several potential finalist designs. Some designers are wasting their own time by not reading/following the entire description and submitting entries that show they didn't read the description. Nonetheless, how much more $ do you think would be customary?
