Hello designers!!!

Our global substrate manufacturing company has launched a 3D substrate product which has gained a high level of interest from OEMs such as Esko & Zund (CNC routers), Canon and HP (flat bed printers) and the developers of Artios CAD).

The deliverable is to design several large retail displays to be used in trade shows and as prototypes to help in designing structural variations for a variety of products. The new material mentioned above is a mulitlayer substrate with the capabilities of cold bending with a v-groove route (both forward and backward), creating a living hinge and much more (see image I've uploaded). It has structural rigidity and load-bearing qualities, smooth printing surfaces and it will maintain tiny cut details without bending or crushing.

I'd like you to use Artios CAD for parametric flexibility including your recommendations for creating macros for the Artios CAD developers (Esko) to incorporate into their software. Creativity and the ability to think differently about how a displays can be fabricated in a new way is a must.

Designers across the US are asking for display/POP/POS designs to help them understand the new way of thinking and new applications of our new substrate. (It's really amazing stuff...as a designer myself, I have had so much fun discovering the versiatility and of the substrate. I want to share my understanding of the material's attributes and work iteratively with the designer we choose.)

Special skills needed for this project:
In depth working knowledge of Artios CAD. Able to sketch out ideas for effective communication and quick approvals as the designs evolves.

In your proposal, please provide a one-or two-paragraph summary of your design experience and why you'd be a great fit for this work. Also include relevant samples that show your best retail display/pop/pos design work and creativity. We will pay hourly (your expert rate) or by project.
