I need rustic overlays for my sign images

We are a personalized sign manufacturing company and we have websites online and we want to give our signs a bit of a rustic, distressed or vintage look. The signs have already been designed and now we would like overlays we can use to both apply the overlay to the sign on the web and also pply the overlay to the graphic in illustrator for when we print the signs.

It would be ideal to be able to take a distressed overlay and be able to apply it to all the signs with little or no modification. I am thinking for the distressed look it would be nice to get the effects in Illustrator and not photoshop. But I am open to both

We have several websites and we may need to see a rustic metal effect to the sign and then also a wooden effect to the sign. The website has and application that gives us the ability to put an overlay png on top of the sign image to make it look old. Hope this makes sense.

so please show a rustic metal effect to the sign and a wooden board effect to the sign. And it has to look real and genuine.

GUYS AND GALS...I AM LOOKING FOR SOME MODERATE DISTRESSING..I DO NOT WANT THE SIGNS TO CHANGE COLORS OR TO LOOK NOTHING LIKE THEY DID IN THE ORIGINAL. MANY OF YOU ARE JUST WHITING THEM OUT TO ALMOST NOTHING. I AM LOOKING FOR SOME SLIGHT WHITE PAINT CHIPS AND A SCRATCH OR TWO.
