Hi everyone,

I'm looking to design a logo for a community center that I will be setting up in Vietnam. It's going to be really exciting because the center will include a library with thousands of high quality English books made available to the public at no charge, the very first of its kind in Vietnam. There will also be other healthy learning activities for the people, both young and old, to engage in such as board games and storytelling sessions. A cafe serving drinks and snacks will be part of the center too, and this helps to fund the center's operation costs. In sum, the center will be run as a social enterprise where all profits are reinvested into the business.

With the introduction aside, now we can go into the details. Here are some guidelines/requirements:

1. The logo should convey the name of the community center, which is "Lotus Community"
2. Apart from text, the logo should include a graphic (i.e. some kind of picture).
3. We should be able to see the logo clearly when printed in color, gray scale, or black-and-white.
4. Our mission is "To build a community network through which people support each other in lifelong learning." This statement shouldn't be in the logo, of course, but please use it as a guideline when designing the logo.
