Asterisk Dial command modification

We require a very simple modification to the DIAL command for Asterisk 1.6.2.13.

The existing command should remain exactly as it is, except we need an option added to force the call to stay open for a certain number of seconds, no matter what happens with the rest of the system (it should not cause lockups or problems, but should only delay the hangup/destruction of the channel from the perspective of the terminating SIP device). The purpose of this modification is to avoid short-duration SIP termination penalties.

We will accept either a modified version of the existing dial command which includes an additional parameter for the minimum seconds, or a new Application (for example "DialMinimum") that works EXACTLY like the original dial command, plus the seconds option, or we can work with a channel variable that we set before calling the modified Dial command.
