HI,

I want to do sorting of various plastic material based on the Infrared Signature of the material. At this stage I want to identify whether it is feasible to do it using VIS NIR camera having spectral range from 400 to 1000 nm and using physical IR pass filter .

Now I require to confirm the feasibility, resources required like software hardware, etc and analyze the sample material to confirm myself also. Once we are able to identify different type of material next step will be to discuss about sorting it.
