im making an auv for a school project. current components i have in possession are adxl335 accelerometer, itg3200 sparkfun gyroscope 3-axis, arduino uno, arduino motor shield, arduino wireless shield, 2x xbee modules, 3x servo motors that controls 3 fins ( 1top , 2 sides), one dc motor for propulsion. what i need is for this auv to travel from point A to point B and D tour to point C in a swimming pool. neutral buoyancy about less than a meter. it should be able to dive down once and back up to neutral buoyancy and the rest are just headings at fixed height. IMU system will be linked with image processing in order to capture movements underwater through wireless system from the laptop above.
