Concept art design for the aesthetics of a fictional world for an indie video game development project.
The setting is non-traditional fantasy. Potentially we are looking for both character and environment concepts (buildings, doodads, decorations etc), but the amount and specifics of the work will depend heavily on the artist in question as we would like to work closely with him/her to create a unique visual style for the game, and not all artistic styles may be a good fit.
We have some general ideas and themes (based on real world and fictional references), but we are looking for creative input from an experienced (or simply very imaginative) concept artist.
We are looking to first check out a portfolio and then perhaps order a "test" concept sheet (paid of course) to see if we want to further cooperate with the artist.
Artists located in Ukraine are preferred, but we are also willing to work with people from abroad if we really like what we see.
The budget outlined here is a preliminary one, as we might consider long-term cooperation with an artist and more than one order from him/her if we like the visual style and business relationship.
