This is an Expert level job. This site will be a custom build and will be your responsibility from start code to running live. We will expect your team to create a custom site (not from a template), integrate an online catalogue into our site (that requires Expert levels in Java and API), have it added to our VPS server on Godaddy until the site is live and TESTED & GONE THREW By a third party. The site concept is this, we sell used auto and truck parts, we buy salvage vehicles from insurance companies dismantle them and resell useable parts. We are now going to be selling a full line of over 100,000 new parts, this is the online catalogue that we will be excepting you to integrate. To start the site I want a Custom Flash Intro Built (with audio), then have a split off to “Recycled Parts” & “New Parts”. Then we will require some of your talent to help us design a site lay out, look, and feel. This site will consist of multiple pages. To gather a better idea of what we do, here are some links of company like ours that recycle used parts.

We are also requesting that one of the pages in the “Recycled Parts” section new arrivals (that shows in a list with smaller pictures and description of new salvage that was recently purchased) is easy to edit, we will be training some of our own employees to upload pictures, video and descriptions as they arrive daily. We would like to also have a filtering system built in, that visitors can search by year make and model of new salvage (some standard fields will be required such as Year, Make, Model, VIN, Description in salvage listing). Please also keep in mind that there must be a way to view and upload a video via YouTube per car as we include this in our inventory process.

Next is the Forum portion of this project (its own Site). An automotive forum is a web site where the "common Joe" can go for automotive advise from Techs and other site users. The point is that the Person with the Auto problem posts the problem and other users respond and try to help. In order for this to work the site must be built in such a way that is it vehicle specific and easy to use. We wish to work with all makes and models and years. So there will be many different forums pages and they will have to be set up like this (we will provide the information as to years or Gens (generations) as they are commonly known in the auto industry.
Brand:
Honda (This pages will List all Major brands and by a click of a button the user will pick thier brand)
SubBrand:
Civic (user clicks sub brand of vehicle Accord,civic,Crv,Civic Hybrid, Prelude,Delsol Ect)
Generation:
88-91 (the same body style can be used for several year this is known as the generation)
Problem:
10 sub topics retaining to Electrical,Power Train,Suspension,Transmisson
We will also require the Persons Posting and replying to posts to sign up to the site this must be trouble free and fast for the user, we prefer just frist name last name email. Once signed up they must only just log into the account to use the forum. Another feature to the site is allowing the user to upload a Video or Picture from their Desktop.
