Book promo site - Spiky Girl

I have started a site.

It needs to be a bit flashy.

The site is based on the book cover.

My problem is, I don't want the site to have to scroll.

If you look at [url removed, login to view], you'll see how far I've got.

But, if you look at [url removed, login to view], you'll see I've made a stab at getting 2 things to happen.

1) screen height detection to load a smaller css file.

2) a scroller, also to be smaller on smaller screen sizes.

This isn't working properly, and I need someone with a bit more experience to tidy it up, and point me at the things I need to tidy on other pages.

For someone who knows what they're doing, this should be a breeze.
