I need an android app to be created on a tablet. It needs to be able to help our salesman sell products in shops.
Business Requirement:
We have a sales team which goes around to shops to sell our products.
They use an android Samsung Tablet with GPS connection, the issue is sometimes they lose connection. So we require them to fill the form offline and submit the data once the internet is back on. We expect them to fill 1~20 forms before they upload the forms on the internet. they will also capture images which need to be transferred.
The user can go back and update a form which is not submitted to the server.
We want the ability to make new forms later on.
Technical Requirement
The user interface needs to be responsive.
The data needs to be sent to a server which will handle the XML feed. The images need to be upload to Amazon S3 and the URL needs to be encapsulated in the XML.
Once the XML is processed a confirmation is sent to the client interface which will remove the form data from the uploading queue.
The app needs to do the following:
1) Enter data onto a form. A salesman needs to be able to fill out a standard form to answer questions. E.g. Business name. Did you speak to the owner? Y/N. Did you give a business card? Y/N.
2) That can upload a picture taken by the mobile camera onto the form.
3) User management needs to be setup, only authorized users can use the form.
Please note this an ongoing project we shall want extra add on later on.
