I'm looking for someone to provide code for an application I'm working on. I need someone with some experience working with javascript and asp.net. The project also includes a templated MasterPages (wilsondotnet master pages) main template (this shouldn't really make a difference). On one aspx page, I load the contents of another page into an Iframe. I need to dynamically size the Iframe using javascript based on the size of the page that is loaded (the page that is loaded contains a datagrid which can vary in size depending on the data returned). I've tried a few different scripts to make this happen but have been unsuccessful.
In Summary - the project requires code to be written that will automatically resize an Iframe based on the rendered size of the target src page. The rendered size of the target src page can change size depending on the end users input after the page has loaded - so the iframe would have to be resized based on the target pages content size on every postback. I would also like a "Data Loading. Please Wait..." message to be displayed on the original main page load, and then removed once the target page in the Iframe has completed loading. Code should work in both new IE and netscape browsers.
Another explanation if the above isn't clear:
If someone has the capacity to set up a mock scenario (put a datagrid on it's own page that can be return a variable amount of records. Make this page the src for a frame or Iframe - and then have the dimensions of the frame resize to show all the content of the datagrid. I can than take the code and apply it to my app.
