chat server with irc

Hi

I am running a chat software what has a built in web client and irc server,

the makers of this software no longer support it and also it is made with java and with it no longer supported java warnings from .jar are making users stop using our service due to no code signing.

The software is exactly what I need but would like if possible for some one to take its features make it in flash so security warnings are not an issue and also build it around and irc server,

Important, the irc server it uses is not unreal or any other it has its own unique one designed for the chat interface,

I can let you look over my current website chat so you can see how it works or if you understand what I do not on how a irc server is made to allow irc clients and web applet then that is also fine
