I have a large data base (stocks prices)
I want to statistically analysis the data in so many ways,
For example:
- If event A happened )price reached standard deviation 2)
- What the second and the third events happened after that
- How many times the stock price increased or decreed in the next 5 days.
- How many times the price increased for 30% above the SD
- Did the price moved to the 2.5 SD before reaches the increased 30% or not and how many times
Just few questions not very detailed just to give an idea of what I am looking forward.
I want the following:
- your experience on how to do that,
- using program soft wear excel
- how to get reliable data
- how to improve the result
- how to test the confidence of the result
- full discussion on that after that we might proceed on negotiating the project
