Delphi : Insert Spreadsheet to Table

Need form to insert spreadsheet into SQL table using DevExpress Spreadsheet Control.

Form Requirements:

TeamViewer or Logmein

I will build nice UI for you. You only need be concerned with code and function.

Map Columns

1) Map Table Columns to Spreadsheet Columns using Combo

Check and Highlight

2) Create Functions to verify data in Spreadsheet matches datatype of Table Column and highlight exceptions on spreadsheet (per column only to be easier)

Error Handling

3) Cancel or uncommitt insert (save) on error.

User Rollback

4) Create function to delete last import (save)

Identification

Additional fields will be added to the insert/save to identify and link list

to available queries

DateImported : date saved

ImportedBy : shows who list imported by (available from mainform query (ill show how)

CompanyNo : Links list to a company in a different table

Company : Name of the company (same query)

Contact : I think you should be understanding by now :)

In summary we are saving a sheet to a table with a few extra fields from query
