We need to install a mp4 segmenter to create segmented video files for 'live' streaming to iphone. The task will be to compile and install ffmpeg on debian lenny so that it is able to compile the segmenter [url removed, login to view] here are example instructions [url removed, login to view]
You will be given access to a virtual machine to compile and install the required software.
You will need to provide detailed instructions on the exact steps used to compile each part of the software.
This should use as many debian specific libraries as possible (using apt-get with [url removed, login to view] if necessary)
The project will be complete once we are able to re-produce this compile in our production environment.
