CSS optimization

I need an expert CSS layout person to take a tableless layout that I've had developed for 4 templates (almost can be considered one template as they all use the same header, left nav, and footer) and optimize them a bit more.

I'm interested in having the main content area appear as close to the opening BODY tag as possible for search engine optimization purposes. Also, any additional optimization suggestions you may have are most welcome.

I'm located on the west coast, so though I don't require you to come onsite, I do require that you are available to have a conversation during normal business hours, west coast time.

This can potentially lead to other freelance gigs, but for right now, this is a one time deal. I feel that this work can be done in a very minimal amount of time for someone that's proficient, so please advise on your fee - I am only interested in handling this on a fixed project rate and not an hourly rate.
